The Miracle and Mystery of Christmas Art Exhibition @ Immanuel Baptist Church
Dec 1 – Dec 30 all-day
The Miracle and Mystery of Christmas Art Exhibition @ Immanuel Baptist Church

Yeiser Art Center has partnered with Immanuel Baptist Church for the second annual Miracle and Mystery of Christmas Art Competition. This competition envisions a partnership between Immanuel and local artists to enrich Paducah’s celebration of the Advent and Christmas seasons.

The exhibition will be displayed in the hallways of the sanctuary of Immanuel from December 1 until December 30, 2019.

The theme of this competition is The Light By Which I See. This theme recognizes that what we see is influenced by our perceptions, which are shaped by our own unique experiences. We may be surprised by a light that illuminates a new perspective or offers greater clarity, inviting us to see ourselves, others, and the world more deeply. This exhibition is a spiritual endeavor, not just Christian-centric, so
innovative and thought-provoking interpretations are welcome.

The exhibit will open on Sunday afternoon, December 1, 2019, from 1p.m. until 5 p.m. Immanuel will host an Artists’ Reception at 2 p.m. At 3 p.m., there will be a concert by the Paducah Singers.
